I see that Amp is supported for providing surround to an Arc soundbar, but can I use a Port + Active speakers to give surround for Arc?

+18To the best of my knowledge you can't add the Port as a surround solution. In the past only the Connect Amp (precursor to the Amp) could be used for surround and not the Connect (precursor to the Port).

Correct. Without control of the amplification for the surround speakers Sonos wouldn't be able to manage the HT system properly. So this option is not available.
