hi I want to add a sub gen3 to my existing system (playbar+2 Sonos one gen2) can the subge3 work with my system to become surround system 5.1?

Technically your system is already 5.1, because you have one Sub (the .1 is the Sub). I don’t know if an extra Sub would make it 5.2?

Not really as the signal to the second sub is a duplicate of the original signal, rather than a dedicated channel.
