I have an Arc with two SL1s I see that Sonos have specials for the large woofer. My question is which is the most compatible for Arc. I understand that Sub 4 is best for Arc Ultra but mine is the first gen Arc. Also Costco have Sub 3 special price of $779 and Sonos have Sub 4 for $719. I assume the more I add on the greater the home theatre experience is.

Either Sub is fully compatible so no worries there.
The 4 has newer electronics and weighs less, neither (so far) appears to make any difference.
Buying the 3 has been recommended due to the usually lower price.
I picked up a 4 recently, for no real good reason than maybe someday the new electronics will matter.

+1Makes sense to me guess I’ll go the cheaper being in this case the 4 I was more concerned about compatibility unlike Apple, Sonos appears to allow the mix of old with new.
