How can I figure out the generation of a Sonos subwoofer? Serial #, UPC etc./other?

One way to tell is by looking at the Join button on the side of the Sub. The Gen 1 and Gen 2 have arrows on the button. The Gen 3 has the infinity ♾ icon on the button.

Thanks. I am attempting to verify the generation of a unit that I am possibly purchasing online. I was given all of the packing information and am attempting to verify using that.
