Was looking to incorporate in wall subwoofers throughout my home. I will have several rooms with ARC playbar and sonos amp powering the in ceiling speakers. It’s my understanding that if amp is not front speakers then you can not use third party sub? You have to use sonos sub?

The Amp’s SUB output and line input are disabled when the Amp is being used as surround speakers. So you would need to use a Sonos Sub with your setup.
