I want to add some outdoor speakers to my system ideally 4 in 2x separate areas. If i purchase a Sonos AMP 1 will that work just the same as the new version - thinking it’ll save me a fair few quid.

AMP is the current model, ZP100, ZP120, and CONNECT:AMP are earlier products and there is a pre 2015 and 2015+ version of CONNECT:AMP. AMP has more power than the others. Only the 2015+ version and AMP will run with S2.
