sonos 1 or connect amp?

I am currently using a pair of sonos 1 speakers for my rears in my surround setup. And have an original playbar and sub as well. I am going to update my soundbar to the arc, but I am also debating using in ceiling speakers and a new connect amp as my rear speakers instead. Anyone have any insight on why one is or isn't better ? Is it worth the money? Any gains? Thanks everyone

Hi.  Do you mean Connect:Amp?  It has been replaced by the Amp and there are extra considerations with the Connect:Amp.

I’d say stick with the Ones anyway, as i hate ceiling speakers for HT systems!  The sound comes from the wrong place.

Yes the Amp.

That’s good.  I would have definitely said no to the C:A because it needs ethernet cabling to work as surrounds.  I would, personally, still stick with the Ones.
