Sonance in ceiling speakers with drop ceiling

I'm a Sonos newbie looking for a little advice.

I'm finishing my basement, basically a big open room.

I am planning on doing surround sound in the seating area w/ an Arc and two of the sonance in ceiling speakers for the rear. Ceiling is a drop ceiling. Am I correct in assuming that the speakers are too heavy for the ceiling tiles and need a bracket. Is there a recommended bracket for the speakers?

You are perhaps best to speak to Sonance Customer/Technical Support about this, as they sell various C-Ring and joist Bridge mounts for securely positioning their speakers in tiled/suspended ceilings and they will likely be able to state what’s best for your requirements.
