I have two ERA 300’s set up in my large basement. I was thinking of getting a sub mini wireless subwoofer as they are on sale but want to make sure it will improve the sound.

The only way to know for sure is to test it out yourself. If you don’t think it improves the sound, you can always return it. Sonos has a 100-day return policy.

Large room I’d really think about the full Sub.
The mini will likely be an improvement but not as big a one.
I saw the Gen3 sub on sale, but did not see the sub mini on sale. What sale price have you confirmed?
Check the dates on forum posts, that sale was two months ago.
