Setting Up a Multi-Zone Sonos System for Home Entertainment

Hi,

I’m currently looking to possibly switch up my old surround setup to a Sonos system. I have some questions regarding the setup and possibilities of Sonos.

I need to have at least a 5.1 setup for watching television, but I would like to add a zone/room with two additional speakers for the kitchen. Whenever I’m watching a movie, I would like only the living room speakers working. However, when listening to music, I would like to have both zones active (or one of them). Currently, I have speakers that are very visible, so I would like to use wall speakers where possible without losing audio quality. Is this possible with Sonos products? I’ve added a small sketch of what I would like to achieve.

Thanks in advance,

Yes, that is possible.  You would set them up as two rooms, and group the two together for music.
