I would like to buy a record player and play my vinyl records through a pair of Sonos One speakers. Is this possible and, if so, can anyone recommend a record player which would be a good match for the speakers? Thanks!
Hi
The Sonos One speakers can be set up via WiFi connection or wired to your router. You can stream music using the Sonos app by listening to Sonos Radio or Radio by Tune-In and by adding your favorite music service. Sonos One speaker doesn't have a port where you can connect other devices like a record player.
Please check out our Vinyl Set to see the features and specifications from our website. This Vinyl Set can be grouped with you Sonos One speaker to play the same music at the same time.
You may contact our Sales specialist to know more about it and to provide the best option for you.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Rowena! I’ll take look at the vinyl set on the Sonos website. :)
If you don’t want or need a Sonos Five as an extra speaker, then the other way to connect a turntable to your One’s is to get a Port and a turntable with a built in pre-amp.
You could even look for a used late model Connect to use instead of the Port. Just make sure it has a serial number starting 16xx or later to be sure it will work with the S2 App.
Any turntable with a built in pre-amp will work with the Port or Connect or you can get an external pre-amp to boost a turntable’s Phono Out level signal to a Line In level signal suitable for the Port or Connect.
Thank-you for this advice, lohr500! I am close to making a decision on this now! :)
