Rear Speakers Upfiring Atmos

When will Sonos release rear speakers (one sls) that have upfiring drivers for Atmos? Samsung has dropped the Samsung Q990B which has this AND DTS support. 

 

Sonos needs to step up on this because the samsung set is cheaper and better quality Atmos now. Ive been pricing it out all year to purchase at christmas but if they don’t come out with at least upfiring rear speakers before boxing day Im going with the samsung.

No one, except people who work at Sonos knows the answer to this question. Sonos doesn’t release their roadmap, so until they choose to announce such a speaker for marketing purposes, we’ll not be able to answer your question.
