Have got a couple of Play 5s for the lounge. Would you recommend stands or wall mounting?

There are pros and cons; if there are no pets or small children to threaten speakers on stands, these afford a better possibility of finding an acoustically optimal placement of the speakers.
In general, ear height tends to be better placement than not. But situations, such as @Kumar suggests, can make a difference, and at least in my experience, the audible difference between the two isn’t substantial. Pick whichever works best for your situation, and you’ll be fine.

Stands are easier to move if you decide to redecorate.
Look for ones that offer the ability to firmly attach your speakers and they will be more bump resistant.
