Does anyone know where I can buy Play:1 mounting screws in Australia? I have tried M5 and M6 screws and they certainly don’t work. the 1/4” x 20 (¼ long) I am finding very difficult to find.

Try a camera store. Camera mount screws are typically 1/4” x 20.
