I have been very happy with my Dayton Audio IO655 speakers. They sound great and were only about $85/pair. When buying a few years back, I tried several sets including Yamaha and a couple of other brands that I cannot recall at this time. The Daytons were better. Not "better for the price". Better period. And at 1/2 the price.

With 2 pairs, a impedance matching + volume control device between the amp and the speakers will be useful to ensure that the amp isn't overdriven. Some volume will be lost in that interest, but with 4 speakers placed as close to the listening areas as possible, adequate sound levels ought still to be possible.
