+2What optical cables would people recommend as I need to replace the one come with the sonos.

+21Just get a standard one from Amazon. In the UK they are about £3.50. Pointless spending more.
I went for a cable that had easy to grab ends on it instead of the cheapest available. I wish I'd have gotten different colors too, making getting them sorted right when disconnected easier.

I don't use these, but isn't care also needed about how they are installed in terms of not having them have sharp bends and the like? Such care probably trumps the question of which make.
