Onkyo compatibility with Port?

I have an Onkyo receiver that is compatible with a Sonos Connect, will I get at least the same compatibility with a Sonos Port?

Further, are there any advantages with the Sonos Port apart from what I understand of upgraded audio components? Thanks in advance.

Yes, the Port is compatible with everything the Connect is. It’s worth mentioning that the Port doesn’t have an optical output, though it does have digital Coax output. Compared with the Connect, the Port has a better DAC, WiFi, and all computing components are better. Also, it has Airplay2 built in.

I would also like to know more about this. I just ordered a port yesterday to connect to an Onkyo receiver.

...and it comes in black, likely a preferred color sitting next to a receiver.
