New house setup question
I recently purchased a house, and it has 3 zones prewired. I'm trying to understand if the new update to the Onkyo and Pioneer receivers will still require a Connect, or if it is independent. Any insight would be appreciated, as I've read several articles and feel like I'm seeing conflicting answers.

It will require a Connect. The update will automatically turn on the receiver and switch to the proper input for the Connect, and will allow you to control the receiver volume via the Sonos app.
