Hi, I am running the Amp and Sub Mini with a pair of KEF Q150’s. Sounds really good but I’d like to try better speakers, namely better KEFS, LS50 Meta’s.

Anyone running them please? I have searched and a couple of posts 5 years ago came up.

Thanks.

The Amp won't add much coloration to the sound so it should do well powering them.

I currently use an Amp with KEF R3 Meta speakers and a Sonos Sub, but based on my experience, I wouldn't choose to purchase this combination again. YMMV.

What is not working for you, the speakers, Amp or Sub?

Thanks for your reply. I’d be interested why the KEF R3 aren’t good as well. Apparently they are easier to drive than the LS50’s.

The speakers sound amazing, truly fantastic. Unfortunately, the amp has been very unreliable since the May 2024 software update. I bought it in 2018, and there’s no chance I’d replace it with another Sonos Amp.

2018? Wasn't the Sonos Amp introduced in early 2019?

Are you sure you have a Sonos Amp and not a Sonos Connect Amp?

The older one is pretty low on power and might struggle to drive lower efficiency speakers well or loud.

No you are right it was 2019. It is an amp, replaced an old zp120.
