How is Amp today? Trouble still?

Hey there! I am thinking of getting myself Amp but have read of some annoying trouble some of you have had after the last major update. I have 3 Sonos speakers at home, and would like to connect them, together with my passive speakers, into one system. How smooth is your experience with Amp these days? Would you still buy it today?

I have been using an Amp to power a pair of outdoor speakers for many years and have had no issues with it. It works great with my other Sonos speakers too. I often group the Amp with my other speakers when entertaining.

Amp hardware platform is from 2018, it’s years past due for a hardware refresh. The amp will get software updates for some time, but it’s already not getting features that current hardware gets for example the ability to connect to Ace.

The trouble is l with the new (well now over 9 month old) app and firmware. But using it with a TV has worked pretty good even with the new software.
