help with purchasing for room configuration

Hey there,
I am looking at setting up a 2 room Sonos system.

I have a turntable in one room (not being used) and an old Nad amp and speakers in another.

I would like to be able to send audio from the turntable to either room independently. And also use each room with digital independently. But on my budget this seems hard.

Room 1 Turntable- Preamp-Five

Room 2 Port-Nad-Speakers

this is close but will not be able to send turntable only to room 2 as five will play?

Am I missing something or will I have to save more money😭

You can configure the system so the Five won’t play when the turntable that is connected  to it plays. You can just have the Port (through the NAD) play the music from the turntable. Th analogue in on the Five is an in for the system, not for the Port only.

You can actually play the linein on the Five to the Port while playing a different source on the Five. The linein on Sonos products is just another source available to the whole system.

Nice. Thanks for the help!
