Hello...How can I tell what generation my bridge is? and should I switch to a boost?

Generation 1 or 2 bridge

Hi. There is no gen1 or gen2 for the Bridge. All Bridges are ‘legacy’. According to your profile you don’t have any other legacy Sonos units, so it looks like it would be a good idea to drop the Bridge. If you have a speaker close enough to your router you could wire that instead. If you have a small Sonos system and good WiFi you might try running without a wired component (Settings, System, Network, Wireless Setup). Or you could replace the Bridge with a Boost.
