Connecting 3rd party sub to Sonos Amp

Hi,

Here comes a sound noob question.

I have a Sonos Amp connected to two Dali bookshelf speakers. I have now purchased a Dali sub. Do I connect the AMP to the subwoofer LFE bypassing the Bulut in crossover and using the Amps crossover or do I have to connect the subwoofer with a Y-Cable to the L/R input on the subwoofer.

I have now connected the amp to the subwoofers LFE and it seems to work very well. Would there be an advantage in sound if I got a Y-cable to connect to the L/R-input on the subwoofer instead?

Hi Alexander123

Go to Page 9 of this manual which explins the proper connections (how/when to use).  At this junction you have the best connection IMO to your sub. The Sonos Amp is selecting cross-over and balancing.

Cheers!
