Can I pair One SL with SUB?

I have a pair of One SLs wall mounted in a smallish sIzed bedroom configured in stereo for use with Apple Music and Airplaying from phones.  They sound great but I feel like a Sub might help give a fuller sound.  Would the Sub be overkill?  Can the sub be configured to work with the two SLs in a 2.1 setup?  Cheers.

Sub is a great addition. Many have a stereo pair of Play:1s or Ones complemented by a Sub.

It’s not strictly 2.1, since there isn’t a discrete .1 LFE channel like there is with home theatre. The main speakers simply offload the lowest frequencies onto the Sub. Typically they then perform better in the mid-range, having been relieved of bass duties.
