Previously used Connect to connect TV using 3.5mm audio out on TV to RCA input to connect, worked wonderfully! Connect was many years old and bit the bullet finally! Using the proper adapters, has anyone used the Era 1 to connect their TV? Does it then play throughout the entire SONOS system? Or only on that speaker that is connected? Needing new device to connect TV, and dont really need a soundbar for the one im connecting to! Any suggestions from member currently doing this?

By the definition of the Sonos software, any line in can be played across the system, assuming all speakers are on S1 or S2 (but not both). There is always that 75Ms delay on a line in.
Things get slightly more complicated if you use a soundbar, but not horrifically so. I won’t bother you with those details unless you ask.
The Sonos line in works the same on any Sonos device that has it. There is no difference between a line in on the Era 100 than there is on your old CONNECT.
The Era and adapter will do what you want.
