Beam Gen 2 - Era 100 or Mini wireless subwoofer

Hi All,

I currently have a Beam (Gen 2) and am looking at upgrading the system with either 2 off Era 100 speakers (to be used as rears) or a mini wireless subwoofer...eventually I will buy both, but which should I buy first to get the best possible enhancement to sound when watching TV primarily, music and then films?

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

It depends on what you think. One is not better than the other, it just boils down to preference. Some people like surrounds, some like to ‘feel’ the bass. 
 

But eventually having both will be satisfying ;)

I’d lean to the Sub first as it works on all audio formats.

The surrounds won’t do a lot on non-surround source TV viewing and unless set to “Full Mode” don’t do a lot for listening to streaming sources.

 

I’d say hit the holiday sales and get both, if you have a discount code a set will be counted as one purchase.
