Always on charge?

Hi there, does the Sonos Play one second gen always need to be plugged in to the wall, like with the first gen? Power not Ethernet that is.

Sort of, so basically it always needs to be plugged into power, I can’t, say, take it to the park with me- thanks

The Sonos ONE is not battery-powered, if that is what you mean.

All Sonos products are designed to be left connected to a power supply. Here is a list of their approx. power consumption when idle

The ONE is not a portable speaker. Sonos is not in the business of making portable speakers at all.
