Trueplay on/off toggle on Android.

Hi,

After the catastrophic crash of the S2 app, I waited a long (long) moment before recalibrating my system (arc+sub+era300) with a friend's Iphone

But I am realising that the trueplay On/Off toggle does not exist anymore on my android App (80.14.06).

This is a strong regression for me (and a new disapointment).

Does anyone knows if Sonos planned to get it back in Android App ?

Sorry to hear of this issue you are having with the option to enable or disable the TruePlay Tuning done by an iOS device on your Android device.

We are aware of the situation and are investigating. I have no estimate for when a fix might be put in place, but I will update this thread when I hear of it having been done.

I find it unacceptable that I can no longer toggle true play on and off through android. I have access to my daughter's IPad when she is home from uni and I get the microphone situation with tuning but I should still be able to toggle on android.

So many things went wrong, missing or  broke Sonos is having to prioritize what gets fixed first.

 

I'm sure they have some process in place to decide but it is still a PITA when it isn't your issue.

How do I retune my arc using android phone.I cannot see it in the S2 menu  app. I do not have access to a iPhone.

Android cannot support Trueplay. Only iPad/iPhone can support Trueplay. A few players can self tune.
