Will a FACTORY RESET also downgrade my SONOS Beam to S1 ?

I’ve read here that users who never left S1 have less problems, so I was considering applying this to my SONOS Beam.

Does anybody know if applying the Factory reset process will also downgrade the controller from S2 to S1 ?

@Rhonny Thanks for that info. I would assume only the devices that are listed as S1-compatible could be downgraded. Is that your understanding as well?

Yes, of course they have to be S1-compatible in order to be rolled back to S1.
