New speaker out of the box — works great when plugged into router with Ethernet cable, but immediately stops playing when cord is unplugged. How do I get it to connect wirelessly so we can put it in the desired room (where the cable can’t reach)?

Has the ‘radio’ for that speaker/room been disabled in the controller?

Have you tried just setting up the speaker in another room, temporarily? It might be helpful to know if it is currently in a Wi-Fi ‘dead spot’ or an area of high interference, that might lead us to different answers.

What type of Wi-Fi signal are you trying to connect to, 2.4Ghz b/g/n, or 5Ghz? Is your router using  20 mhz channel width, or 40 MHz width? What specific speaker model is not connecting? What type of router is it, by make and model? Do you have other devices connected, and are any of them wired to the router?
