why is Sonos sending 500 errors, but still claiming on the status dashboard that everything is operational

The Sonos status page doesn’t have an item for “Sonos Cloud”, which is another problem that needs to be fixed.

It is also possible that the error is when the cloud service calls into your local network to get your music account details, in which case the problem is not in the cloud at all.

Things were much easier (and more reliable) before Sonos injected cloud calls into the app.

Got this error as well this morning.  None of the connected services were accessible.   No radio stations etc.  Only thing I could do was to direct music output from spotify over the local network to Sonos devices.   If only bluetooth was supported so I could stream radio via my phone to Sonos.
