I have a Play 5 (Gen 1) which intermittently keep lowering the volume.
It is in Party Mode with a Play 3 (Gen 1) which remains at the same volume.

I have submitted diagnostics: 1298325802

Could you assist please?

Hi @spaisey

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Your Play:5 is reporting CPU over-heating. When a hardware fault like this is detected, the volume is ramped down to prevent damage. Given your location, and the recent heatwave, I have to assume that this issue will resolve itself fairly soon. You may want to find a cooler spot for your Play:5 to live, however.

Unplugging the Play:5 from power for 20 minutes or so will probably help, but for how long I cannot say. Today’s weather should be a lot cooler than the last couple of days, so you may find that the speaker will behave today anyway.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for your swift response and diagnostics.
I will carry out your suggestions and will update if things improve when the current temperatures reside.

Many thanks :)

Update: No problems since the weather has dropped below 30C.
