Use of Era 100 away from wifi

Once set up on WiFi at home, can Era 100s be used with Bluetooth only away from home?
I’d like to take to a child’s party location where there is no WiFi accessible.

Can two still be paired or does that rely on them communicating over WiFi?

Thanks

Era100s require a network, especially to intercommunicate. They can’t boot properly without one.
