Unable to set Alarms on app new era 100

I just bought a new sonos speaker the Era 100, i already had the Sonos One gen2, when i try to set an alarm from the app it immediately cancels out, not even a nanosecond and it’s gone idk what’s wrong.

i bought the a new Era 100 and same issue with the sono one gen 2 i don’t even know what’s wrong to say im speechless.

 

i have tried everything resetting the speakers the app everything.

If you’ve already rebooted everything, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, Sonos’ lawyers get sensitive about GDPR, I suspect.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Just a new user, but I noticed if the Date and Time is set to 12 hours you see the AM and PM when you save a alarm. This is when it fails to save and displays briefly the alarm. Set your clock to 24 hours on your mobile/device.

On Iphone go to Settings > General > Date & Time and set to 24 hour time.

That worked for me.

OMG liam.hamblin, you are a god send. I’ve been dealing with this issue for 3 years. I’ve had to install a copy of the App on my old MacBook as a workaround, and this year the app is no longer supported. I had to try again and I found your message. I want to reach out over the internet and kiss you. xxx
