For music playback, you would follow the FAQ here.

You can, if you desire, bond two of the PLAY:1s and the Sub as a home theater ‘room’, but the second pair would need to be set up as a stereo pair in another ‘room’, or as two separate ‘rooms’. For streaming music, all ‘rooms’ would be in sync, but there would be a slight delay between the Beam and any ‘grouped’ rooms when using the TV input on the Beam.
