I haven't used my speaker for awhile. Today I turned it on & clicked on the Sonos app. It won't let me access the app a page comes up "Sonos system needs a software update" I click on update now I get a spinning circle checking for updates & it says "There was a problem checking for updates" I have retryed this 12 times now & no joy ! I have rebooted system & uninstalled & reinstalled sonos app it's so frustrating I just want to listen to music ! I can't access app 😢

First try hooking it to Ethernet long enough to get the update.

If that doesn’t work you should leave it hooked up and call Sonos to get them to force an update. That is sometimes needed if the speaker hasn’t been updated for a while.
