Hello

I have just purchased a Sub Mini and it will not connect to my pair of Play 1s. It says “There was a problem adding your sub mini”. I spent about an hour online chatting with a Sonos rep and we went through all the troubleshooting - rebooting/factory settings etc.

I also have a large size sub in another room which has worked fine for over five years, so there is nothing wrong with my router! Why do they always look to blame the router? There is nothing wrong with all my other working Sonos connections either.

Has anyone had similar problems? If so, how was it sorted out? If at all.

It is now connected, by connecting it first to one speaker then re-installing as a stereo pair. However it is not giving off any sound.

When you look at Settings ( gear icon ) - Manage - About Your System are all the speakers on the same Version?  Should be 16.3.3 (build 80.1-56190).  Android only reports the build.
