My sub mini has a blinking red light and I'm still able to use it as normal without any issues, but its annoying seeing that its blinking red. I pulled the plug out and did the reset method but it doesn't not go in to factory reset, it just reconnect to my sonos beam but still has the blinking red light. 

Don’t Factory Reset because this destroys diagnostic data. I suggest that you submit a diagnostic and contact SONOS phone support.
