Are there any speakers stands for Sonos five  that aren’t ugly like the Sami’s, Flexson and Mountson ones?

If you don’t need to secure the speakers onto the stands, these Kanto stands are nice:

I really like mine, nobody notices them and they are solid.

Have to admit the sanus look better than expected. Ideally I want something with some wood finish to it though and I’m concerned about how well my Fives will balance without a clamp

My Five has been up there a long time with no issues.

They offer the ability to secure the speaker to the base using a 3M Command Strip.

I decided not to do that but if I did I’d look at the Velcro picture hanging 3M strips.

You could get a wood support bar look by having a local wood shop make a cover for the steel support. Shouldn’t be much work, just cut a slot in a 2x4 or glue up some inch lumber. Might even do it at home if you are at all handy. A base cover wouldn’t be much work either.
