speaker in pair no longer connecting

I have 2 “play five “ speakers in one room. The second one just stopped connecting. It’s still lit up. I’ve unplugged it, tried to rediscover it in the room and it’s not connecting or being seen. It  worked over the summer. What should I do?

A PLAY:5 is fairly old, even if it is gen 2. I’d recommend that you call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

Unplug ALL your Sonos, reboot the router and power up the Sonos and see if it connects.

Ok, thank you so much. My late husband had all these Sonos speakers that I set up at new home with the help of support over the summer but you are right, its probably too old… I honestly don’t need it in the room its in.

I’d still call Sonos support, if the WiFi system has failed, there may still be options. Better to know your cards, rather than just giving up.
