I have had issues for as long as can remember with music, specifically Spotify, cutting out when switching songs or starting music. The sound would come on one speaker and take around 20 seconds to reach all of my other speakers. Very annoying. Well, I wired a single Sonos One directly to my router and turned the wifi off on that speaker. That solved the entire issue. No music ever cuts out or lags now. I think the key was turning off the WiFi on that speaker because I’ve had speakers wired before but always had that issue. Hope this helps anyone else out there with a similar issue.

Glad you resolved your issue.
However there are a few situations where your solution may not work.
Essentially what you did was create the SonosNet that by-passes your home Wi-Fi in favor of the SonosNet which is a hidden 2.4Ghz band.
Newer Sonos speakers such as the Arc Ultra, Era 300 and Era 100 are HOME Wi-Fi only and do not connect to the SonosNet.
As to the speaker you claim had the issue it may have a failing network interface card. However to be sure I’d suggest you recreate the issue and run a diagnostics within 10 minutes of the occurrence. Make note of the reference ID number. Then call Sonos Tech support to discuss the data. As it could be the speaker, network issues or both. Do not post the reference ID in the community due to privacy concerns.

With Ethernet connected to the one speaker, and the wifi (actually the internal radio) on it disabled the rest of the speakers should not be impacted and stayed connected to the home wifi.
I wonder what the impact of simply unplugging the speaker from power would have been, or relocating it to a temporary location away from possible interference.
