Sonos system is a nightmare

The Sonos system is awful. It is so unstable. It is causing issues with our internet too. I will definitely not recommend Sonos.  We spent over 100k for a system that is offline more than online. Sonos support has been unable to help. It is unrelated to our internet service provider.  Can anyone help???

Not really enough information to begin to guess, but I’m curious as to how you spent $100k for a Sonos system. The most expensive speaker is the Arc, at $899, and the maximum amount of speakers in a Sonos system is 32. 32 times $899 isn’t anywhere near 100K.

We have built in speakers throughout the house, , theater, outdoor speakers. Cost was well into the 100k.  Was hoping for troubleshooting ideas and not questioned about Cost please??

System stopped working consistently may 2nd. We have been using since November.  After initial challenges, we were stable.  Now the sonos system is tripping up the internet. We have to reset modem and gateway constantly.  We have been troubleshooting and it is not our isp, the sonos system is causing the problem.

If you have more than one Sonos device connected with Ethernet cable (instead of wifi) or have recently added new networking equivalent you might want to research  “Sonos network loop” and "Sonos network storm” here and elsewhere on the internet. It is possible for Sonos gear to cause internet issues, depending on the configuration and sometimes with specific routers and switches.
