Sonos Speaker Low quality audio.

Hello everyone, I am writing this to share with you the bad experiences that I am unfortunately having, and that is that the audio quality of my Sonos series 100 is horrible. I've literally turned down the bass at -10 because it sounded super saturated, even at -10 which is the maximum it becomes distorted because yes, I tried both yt music and spotify and there is no difference, they have the same problem, is this normal? If not, is there any way to exchange it for another model? Thanks in advance, you are great!!!<3

 

(edit) As an extra info, this is a gift from a friend, that i never used in a year until today.

I’d first try a simple power cycle of the speaker, by unplugging it from the wall for two minutes. 

If that doesn’t change anything, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
