Hi dear community I'm new in Sonos area, my brother gave me a gift of two sonos play:1. They only have Ethernet connection and wifi. I have a Samsung neo QLED tv. And I'll like o connect it together.

Can some one guide me through it? I'm struggling with it

It can’t be done, the PLAY:1, and its replacement, the Sonos One, and even the next replacement, the Sonos Era 100 are not designed to be connected to a TV set as TV speakers. They can (all of them, but only as a matched pair) be used as surround speakers to support a Sonos soundbar, such as the Sonos Ray, the Sonos Beam, or the Sonos Arc.

Hi Airgetlam, is beam 1 enough to do the assembly and make use of the speakers as support, or need to be a newer version?

Or, the older PLAYBAR and PLAYBASE will work, and the PLAY:1s will work as surrounds for any Sonos soundbar. You just can’t use them as directly connected ‘front’ speakers.
