sonos ones speech button on unit

Hi 

the speech button is not responding on my Sonos one,  when pressing nothing happens, but it’s saying its connected,  and my other units are working fine,   Is it a fault with the device,  

any ideas or suggestions appreciated

thanks for response,  think I’ve sorted it,  although Alexa was working on my other Sonos units,  ie speech light on,  I reset Alexa on that one unit,  took it off and re added it back on and light reappeared,   Never had it before.  👍

Have turned off the status LED’s? Or does it not respond to voice commands?

You don’t need to press-and-speak; the microphone is either enabled or disabled.
