Hard to tell from so little detail, but it might be a VPN, Virus Protection, or other port blocking software. Or even incorrect WiFi settings, I suppose.

I’d suggest, if you followed the data in the new router - installation instructions FAQ, and the Sonos Network Requirements FAQ that you call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

There is, I believe, a service issue with Alexa.

I have connected to the router by cable to rule out WiFi problems, and I have disabled the firewall, and rebooted the router. I have deleted and reinstalled the speaker. Following earlier browsing through FAQs I had upgraded to Sonos2 and then retrograded.

It doesn't say internet is not available. The local app says it is doing it but never comes back with anything.

I can play Spotify off my phone so there's nothing wrong with the speaker's internals.

I can ask Alexa for the local weather and that works, do it's not the internet per se, just the services that I am trying to acess.

So, what suggestions did Sonos support make, beyond the obvious fact that Alexa is currently an issue?
