Hi I have a sonos one a100. I want to by another to make a pair and I know I can’t but this through sonos anymore.

I have been searching online and am unsure as to whether what I have is gen 1 or gen 2 as this often how resellers are advertising.

mine is Alexa and blue tooth enabled.

any advice?

Post a photo of the bottom of the speaker and we can tell you what generation it is. But if it is an A100, it is a Gen 1.

FYI… you can still purchase a Sonos One on the Sonos website. You can use a Gen 1 and Gen 2 together to create a stereo pair.

Also, the One isn’t compatible with Bluetooth.

Oh thanks so much. See the photo.

maybe it’s airplay that let’s me play directly to it without using the app?

Oh yes I can see the One SL on the website. I’m presuming that is a gen 2?

You have a Sonos One (Gen 1) and it is compatible with AirPlay.

There is only one generation of the One SL.
