I’m new to Sonos:

  1. Want to know steps to st up FIVE line-in direct to analog TV headphones…
  2. Whilst still being able to include FIVE with full Arc system downstairs via Wi-fi.

Whenever I include FIVE with Wi-fi, then switch back to line-in source, the FIVE is disconnected from line-in (& hard to reconfigure).

  1. Not easily done, you’d have to set up an output from a Sonos Port to a line in on the TV set. If such a thing exists…although older TVs that had a way to connect video cameras might . The TV would then hopefully take that line in and play it to the headphones.
  2. You would group the Sonos Five with the Arc system. It would have the normal 75ms delay between the Arc and the grouped room.

You want to play TV sound from your Five? A different TV from the one with the Arc Ultra? Connect the headphone analogue out to the Five analogue in and chose “Line in” as a source. Remember there wil be a 75ms delay, so there will be no lip sync.
