I can’t be the only one with this issue.

I have had BEAM + ONE + ONE as my living room setup.  MOVE is in the Bedroom.  Was so happy with this setup.  Never an issue with the SONOs app playing music.  Never an issue with Apple AirPlay playing music or Podcasts.  Mutli room worked awesome.

I added two ERA 100 to my setup as a new room.  Setup as left and right…Very basic and simple.  Ever since I added those two speaker, I have had nothing but issues.  I was told that sonos support acknowledges a bug with airplay and lossless.  One speaker would cut out or both would drop for no reason.  They are still seen on the network, they just stop playing music.  These two speakers are the closest to the router, so it’s not a distance issue.  Not using any voice commands.

I’m relegated to use the sonos app to play multiroom and that sucks ass as well.  I’m lucky to make it through two songs in a playlist without the one or both Era dropping.  I have to go through the app, turn off that room, enable it again and when I do, the current song switches to a new song and it may work or not work.  I have to do this several times.   For the price of these speakers, I would expect seamless music play.  Forget the fact I can’t airplay podcasts or music anymore.

I have talked with support and they admit they are working on this issue, but have heard about no updates.

Anyone got any input on this issue how I can make my wireless speakers work wirelessly with multiroom?  I like to entertain and it’s really bad having background music drop and I’m running around rebooting speakers.  I do not speak kindly about this issue.

Airdrop means Airplay…..

This sounds like an issue with your network.  If you temporarily move the two Era 100’s to a position closer to your wi-fi router does the issue persist?  If yes, then please look at my article:
