Sonos buttons disabled

My buttons are disabled on one of my play 5’s. Diagnostic report 1857851894

”rebooting” the device enables it again. So not the toggle in the system menu.

it is either the alarm function that disables it or the the combination of alarm and Spotify streaming as streaming to the other device does not affect/disable the buttons.

it is also a new thing. (Max two months) It worked fine before.

There is an option “Touch controls” in Settings that can disable/enable the buttons on a Five.

Thank you yes, that was what I was referring to with. "So not the toggle in the system menu."

Hi @PollieKrismis

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

To which room are you referring? You have two Play:5s.

Hi Corry

Thank you for looking into it.

It is the in the bedroom.

Thank you

Hi @PollieKrismis

Thanks!

I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team regarding that unit. Although I can’t verify an issue with the buttons, it has another issue that prevents it from playing AirPlay, so we’ll replace the unit for you.

Thank you for picking this up Corry, the process has been put in motion to get the issue resolved.
